“Happiness is only real when shared” –Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild
This is exactly what we need to see in a family portrait; the joy of being together and the happiness that exudes from it. There is nothing more important than family and the strong ties that binds us. So, at each session, I make sure to have giggles, interaction but mostly I want people looking at the images thinking: they look so happy together! The image should be real and reflect life as it is at that particular moment of each others lives.
