You can’t talk enough about lighting and how important it is in studio but as well outdoors. We had opted to shoot this teen outdoors. But by the time I got to her house, it was cloudy. So cloudy in fact, that I thought there was no chance of having that beautiful rim light that this girl wanted. We lucked out, about 10 minutes into the shoot, the sun showed up for a few minutes. We were overjoyed. Without the sun, the images were nice but with it, they were amazing!
I have been a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) for 3 years now. This association has brought so much to me in terms of pushing my creativity and my professional craft.
The provincial image competition has just past and all 4 of my submitted images were accepted in the Image Salon. It is something that is quite hard to achieve and definitely something I would not have been able to do 3 years ago. My photography as well as my skills have grown and it’s quite nice to be able to see the results.
Wow, wow, wow! So much fun this one! The dad is a friend of mine who graduated with me from the photography program at La Cité Collégiale. Needless to say that I was extremely flattered and honored when he asked me to do his maternity session. We had a blast making this session a little more glam than normal but I will absolutely repeat this process with future maternity clients; Glam maternity!
I am so grateful and happy when regular clients come back to see me. I had photographed this family’s little boy since he was 3 month old and now, they have a girl! Mom came to the studio ready with numerous girlie outfit changes. We had established that the colour scheme for the shoot would be pink and white in true girlie fashion and we used white and black for their adorable son.
Here is my favorite image and a few more…
This week I had a wonderful session with a client that purchased the baby plan for her second child. The baby plan is a package of 4 pre paid sessions that you may use during the time frame of your choice.
I had so much fun with this little one. His expressions were all so cute and different that he totally won me over. Each image is different and charming.
Below are two of those very special images!
What a great start to the year! I have an exhibit called “Couleurs d’enfants” at the Eugène Racette gallery which is located at MIFO in Orleans all of February. The gallery opening is tonight (February 6th) from 7pm until 9pm.
Chef Marc Miron from Cuisine et Passion will be supplying the delicious food and my husband Normand will also be on site. Normand and Tim Bedner will be playing music to make the whole event perfect. It will be extremely plaisant to see you all and spend some time with you.
The images go from the colourful to the funny and even a little more dark. Come and pay me a visit!
Wow! My website is finally done! Life kind of took me away all over the place last year and the site was miraculously done little by little. My web designer did a fabulous job that went far beyond what I was expecting. It was a great adventure, a new direction, and a personal reflexion on myself, my work, my objectives and everything that is important to me; my family and taking time. Taking time to breathe, love, laugh, read and spoil the ones I love.
I hope you will enjoy the site’s new look as much as I do and please contact me for anything at all as you know you can.
